There is no reason for the Avs to get Hall. We already have a bit of a crowd for ice time in among the forwards. He is also unproven. The guy had one good year. Nothing before an nothing since. The price tag would be too high. The Avs got to where we are by being patient and not going after the high priced guys.
If anything I'd want more defense to shore that part up a bit. The last thing we need is another forward. |

Good points, but I’d challenge the crowded ice time standpoint. I think it is crowded because we have a lot of 3-4 line players. We should consolidate some of those resources for top end talent.
I think Pageau May be a better fit with this team though. More affordable and potentially not a rental.
